Britt Waters was out visiting the world-famous Turkish Coffee Lady, Gizem Salcgil White, at her location in Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. White was instrumental in having December 5th declared World Turkish Coffee Day and launched the first and only authentic Turkish coffee brand in the US. The Turkish Coffee Lady is on a mission to continue to build a global community of coffee explorers, promoting Turkish coffee culture, and bridging cultures one cup at a time.
